Our Senior Consultant, Isabelle Morris, celebrated her first anniversary with Schon&Co this month. Having previously worked in PR and communications,
she brings a wealth of experience in crafting narratives and building meaningful media relationships. Over the past year, Isabelle has been a key part of the team in driving successful campaigns for our clients, combining strategic insight with creativity to deliver excellent results. We sat down with her to reflect on the past year, her favourite achievements so far and what she is looking forward to next.
What’s your favourite thing about working at Schon&Co?
What I love most is definitely the variety. One hour, I’m jumping on a call with an industry team in Texas, and the next, I’m looking at reforestation projects in São Paulo. It keeps things so fresh. But honestly, the real highlight is being part of a culture that actually lives its values. A lot of places talk about work-life balance, but at Schon&Co, you genuinely see it in action, and it makes such a difference in how we actually work.
How has Schon&Co supported you in your first year here?
Schon&Co has been brilliant at giving me the space and the opportunity to really grow into the role. Right from day one, there was this level of trust where I felt empowered to just run with big ideas. It’s been a year of constant development, but it never felt forced. The team at Schon&Co gives you the platform and the confidence to actually make things happen.
What is your biggest achievement or favourite achievement so far?
My biggest highlight has to be getting the chance to plan, strategise, and lead a massive internal event and press conference for one of our international clients. I was able to fly out to Japan to pull the whole thing together, which was a wild experience considering I don’t speak a word of Japanese! Successfully navigating that and seeing it all come to life on the ground is easily my favourite achievement so far.
What are you looking forward to next?
Honestly, I’m really excited for more international travel and getting to see what this next year of growth actually looks like for the team. We’ve got so much momentum right now, so being right in the thick of that expansion and seeing where we take things next is definitely what I’m looking forward to most.
